Steel Authority of India has Issued Notification for Recruitment of 605 Operator cum technician and Attendant cum technician posts, eligible candidates can apply before 13/05/2013 though online.

Educational Qualifications : Applicants must complete 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Ceramics/ Civil, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute for post no. 1, Matriculation and ITI in Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Air conditioning /Refrigeration/ /Draughtsman/Machinist/Turner/ Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic / IT & ESM trades from Govt. Recognized Institute for post no. 2, 3 years full time Diploma in engineering from Govt. Recognized Institute with 2^nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency for post no.3.

Age Limit : Applicants age must be 28 years for posts of 1 & 2, 30 years for post 3. Age relaxation will be extended as pr rules.

Pay scale : For post of 1 & 3 Rs.10700/- and Rs.8300 post no. 2.

Selection Process : Applicants selection process will be basis of written test, interview and medical test.

Application fees : GEN/OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 250 for operator Cum technician post and Rs.150 for attendant cum technician post(ST/SC/ PWD candidates need to pay Rs.50) to be paid in State Bank of India through a payment challan.
